ACCA exam session for December 2008 starts in 1 2 3 4 5 days!!!!!
I can count the days on the fingers of one hand!!!!There's no time left!!!!!
I signed up for 3 papers so my exam schedule runs thus:

Monday (1/12/08) = F6 Taxation
Tuesday (2/12/08) = F4 Corporate and Business Law
Wednesday (3/12/08) = F8 Audit and Assurance

Its my second attempt at Law and Tax. And I'm shyt scared of Audit.High failure rate paper. *shiver* Anyway,I'm going to need your prayers,people. I hope it'll be over soon. And also for all ACCA and CAT students..ALL THE BEST!!!!We will fight this battle with all we've got. Same to all of you who are facing exams!!!!

And no,I have not sprouted an extra pair of eyes from my head...The four eyes I meant were my own two eyes and. . . . my spectacles. (Don't start throwing rotten eggs at me in your imagination please.... XP )

So,for those of you who're guilty of forgetting the specty Joyce...and to satisfy the curious people who can't imagine me with glasses;here's a picture:-My polycarbonate,unbreakable,anti-crack,rust free,rimless specs which has been through a lot of free falls from my nose to the floor,accident drops and the occasional,"Where's my specs??Oh!!!I'm sitting on them."

However high the craze is for 'fashionable' spectacles are now,there's such a thing as overdoing things.Like this:-

But seriously though,if you're planning to frame your eyes,please choose a shape that matches and compliments your face. I've seen people who look like they're vie-ing for the World Record for 'heaviest-rimmed black specs on a human's nose","weirdest pattern on the spectacles rim"....(okay...check the sarcasm)

I'd go on and on with weird awards but I had better end this post since I'm typing this in college and before the 'lala' fellow with weird white rimmed spectacles (some fellow I don't know) who inspired the awards ceremony suspects something... (I'm so mean...)

On and ending note...My exams are around the corner...so expect a draught of updates here ya...

It seems like I'm always filling up holes in my blog.

Sorry people...my computer is unstable and. . . .complicated.I won't bore you with the details. Anyway,just a quick filler on what went on during my MIA period where I couldn't log in here to update.In no particular order:-

1. My parents attended a conference in Sabah and came back with a load of seafood. Seriously a LOT!!!!! As soon as they reached home,they started unloading ice boxes and iced packets into the kitchen and started trasferring the contents into the freezer. HUGE fishes,prawns(with sharp 'mouths' that poked my fingers..*OUCH!!!),scallops,anchovies,crab. . . .its going to be seafood days ahead for me!!!!

My mum cooked fish head curry with one of the fish heads they brought back.The SIZE of the fish...Look:-

I'll show you more pictures next time if I manage to snap while my mum's cooking anymore of her awesome dishes with the sea creatures.

Cake...

As usual,the food took ages to arrive since we went in such a big group.I played Stack-Up blocks (similiar to Uno Stacko) with the people at my end of the row.Somehow this game makes everyone really tension.Haha!!!:-

Yes...Joyce has turned 19.
I've hit my last year as a -teen.Gosh..all of the sudden I feel old.
My birthday fell on the 23rd of October (yea,long belated post...blame my server for not letting me sign in to update.) but my awesome friends threw me a surprise party on the night BEFORE my birthday.Ahahaha....
They had it in Benaz Cafe.
It used to be Ice Ice Baby (yes...I'm serious). The interior was maintained my the current owner so everything looks more or less the same.The current owners are relatives of Talvin and Satvin (brothers) here:-

The place had just opened when we arrived and we made it look very full indeed when we all sat down and picked up the menus.(THANKS YOU GUYS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO CELEBRATE WITH ME!!!!)

I'm sorry I did not take any pictures of the food because I was too busy eating.Haha!!! I ordered Naan with Masala Chiaken,Lamb Curry and Nasi Briyani.The food was totally good.It burned my mouth and I had to gulp down some weird tasting orange juice to cool down.Thumbs up for the food but the drinks were weird.I ate til I was stuffed...Su Nyen ate til she couldn't sit up straight.AHAHA!!!! Okay,notice from the picture above that I sat at the head of the table. This is what I saw at the other end of the table:-

After everyone had eaten what they could,my birthday cake was taken out. They got me my favourite Oreo Cheesecake from Secret Recipe. Happiness....Here's a picture of me looking super happy about the cake (=.="):-

Okay,that caption was a joke. They went through the birthday cake ritual of singing 'Happy Birthday' and I was about to blow out the candles when DEAR Sasi and Talvin started chanting 'Joycie Joycie!!!' using the Chelsea chant and made other people turn around and stare.Football maniacs...

The lighting in Benaz wasn't very ideal for pictures and I had to put most of the pictures through the photo editor to adjust...

Well,after the bill was settled, we exited Benaz.We were all so full and didn't want to go home yet so we decided to walk one round around the Padang Ipoh which was just outside.

The guys were making fun of Mei Theng and my attempt to pose Bollywood style at the tree...But look what happened next:-

Just admit it,guys,we looked better next to the tree....blehh...

While we were walking our round around the field,we saw many couples at various spots. Before you start constructing romantic images of sitting-on-benches-holding-hands..they were sitting back to back with laptops on their knees. Yup..no kidding. There's free WiFi in that area and these people actually purposely drive there at night and sit at the benches around the field to online. How romantic huh...Perhaps this is proof how important online-ing is in some people's life until they would drive out at night to sit in a mosquito infested,deserted field where there's huge risk of getting robbed and also soaked by rain. Or maybe its just the FREE WiFi. (Just airing my personal opinion...no offence meant)

Anyway,it was a totally awesome birthday party.I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!
