STUPID EVAN TREMBLEY!!!

Let me explain..
This post has been circulating on Face Book walls since mid-August:-

Please look at the picture, read what his mother says, then forward this message on.My 15 year old boy, Evan Trembley, is missing. He has been missing for now two weeks. Maybe if everyone passes this on, someone will see this child. That is how the girl from Stevens Point was found by circulation of her picture on TV. The Internet circulates even overseas, South America , and Canada etc. Please pass this to everyone in your address book. With GOD on his side he will be found. "I am asking you all, begging you to please forward this email on to anyone and everyone you know, PLEASE. It is still not too late. Please help us. If anyone knows anything, please contact me at: HelpfindEvanTrembley@yahoocom. I am including a picture of him. All prayers are appreciated! It only takes 2 seconds to forward this. If it was your child, you would want all the help you could get!!
A few weeks after re-posting,a friend posted this:-

The Evan Trembley thing...its a hoax! The boy actually made it up himself!!

I was OUTRAGED!!!!

How could a 15-year-old do such a thing?!! I you go to the link I posted above, you'll find out that posting the missing ad of himself is just the tip of the iceberg of the mischief which he thought so FUNNY. As if putting up missing ads of himself wasn't horrid enough:-
  1. He used the material from a REAL missing person's case to construct the ad. As a result, people kept calling the family's house;giving them false hopes and adding to their distress.
  2. He used his mother's name to forward the e-mails. As is shaming his own name isn't enough, he dragged his mum into the mess.
  3. He then pretended that someone was playing a prank on him by posting those missing ads. Does he have a conscience;or more pathetic still..a LIFE??
This is a sick display of attention seeking. Its not wrong to want to draw attention to yourself..Everyone needs some attention. But posting missing ads of yourself? Why would anyone want that type of attention?? Let me compare this to a few examples...
  1. If you were a girl with heart problems and can't afford the expensive treatment. The media publishes it an everyone pays attention to you cause you're dying and need help..Would you LIKE and ENJOY this type of attention?
  2. If you were a boy and you lost your leg in an accident. The media publishes your accident and everyone gives you attention cause you've lost a limb. Would you WANT attention for that reason??
  3. A person sent to jail for fraud makes the front page in the newspaper. Do you think he's PROUD of the attention he gets??
I sympathise with families who are desperately searching for their missing members but I believe that this ad has contributed to growing apprehensiveness among Internet users. I will still continue forwarding ads or appeals for missing persons or for help. I hope there won't be more of these hoaxes to drive me into NOT forwarding. Think of all the genuine cases that could suffer because of this one stupid, selfish act.

Oh..by the way..
He's NOT going to get punished by the LAW for this.
