Fried stuff is unhealthy..but I LIKE!!!

Quoting my Mummy:-

Most food that tastes good is bad for you;
and most food that tastes bad is good for you.

Image Hosted by I think she was trying to make me eat bitter gourds at that time.I still cannot stand the taste of it though. Eeek!! Anyway, I did a quick run through in my head on the things that I like (which is a super long list because I love good food) and not all of them are bad for me. E.g; I like cherry tomatoes, brinjals (or aubergines, whatever you call them), watermelons, etc etc.

But that quote up there rings in my head whenever I'm eating anything particularly sinful. Haha!! And one of them is fried stuff. Mummy brought the family out for dinner at this popularWestern food stall in Ipoh Garden South, and my bro and I had a Chicken Maryland each:-

Chicken Maryland

See how FRIED it is???

with onion rings too!!!

I could hardly finish my food. Had to give up some of the stuff for my bro to handle. My parents shared a Mixed Grill Platter which consists of chicken chops, pork chops, fish fillets, mussels, and otehr add-ons. It's enormous!!! See:-

My parents were full to bursting after finishing it; but I saw two ang moh-s at the table behind ours who had ordered a Mixed Grill Platter EACH. Wow..but I probably CAN finish one on my own if I were extremely hungry and starving the whole day..don't intend to find out if I can though. I'd probably get a sore throat.

Much as we enjoyed our fried stuff (calories galore!!), it made me super thirsty. And we ordered Iced Coffees which didn't really help quench the fried stuff 'heaty-ness'.
Phew...I feel full thinking back on the eating. Haha!!
Anyway, I'm currently in the middle of my ACCA June 2010 exam session. Already sat for my first paper which was P5-Advanced Performance Management. It was a nightmare as expected and I have my last paper on Wednesday, P3-Business Analysis, which I fully expect to be another nightmare. *bites nails*. I CAN'T WAIT FOR EXAMS TO BE OVER!!!!

To perk myself up, I've been planning out some holiday projects which to keep myself occupied. One of them is to LEARN MAKE UP SKILLS, where to get started, I would need to get a make-up palette. I found this blogshop which sells them at affordable prices. I'm sorely tempted by these two:-

Warm Palette

Colour Palette

Really want the colour one because...well, it's colourful!!But Liane (who has the colour one) told me I'm better of with the Warm Palette because I won't use 3/4 of the colours. So i'm taking her advice and sticking with the Warm one. Going to e-mail the seller tomorrow morning.WEEEE!!!!

For now...back to my notes. THREE MORE DAYS!!!!!I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
